Arelund River

The Arelund River is the large river from the east of Deneland Valley. The Arelund is easily the largest and widest river leading into Lake Deneland, but has never been used for river traffic due to its heavy rapids and its breaking up into many smaller rivers a few short miles upstream. In more recent years as the water level dropped in Lake Arelund, the river no longer flowed smoothly into the lake due to the river bed being at a higher elevation than the lake’s new elevation, resulting in a waterfall known as Arelund Falls.

To the north of the Arelund’s mouth is the town of Arelund. To the south is the town of Great Falls.
